"LET ME GO! I'M GOING TO BE SICK!" Jesse screamed out. Dashing to her side, Lestat and Marius untied the rope and Jesse ran to the bathroom. Standing in their places, Lestat and Marius didn't want to invade her privacy at a time like now.
Wiping her mouth, Jesse walked slowly out of the bathroom to look at the two gentlemen. "So? (looks around the room) Where am I? And who are you?" Jesse asked in a mouse like volumed voice. "This is (points to Marius) Marius De Romanus and I (walks up to Jesse with caution and a devilish smile to kiss her on the hand) am Lestat De Lioncourt (kisses her softly on the hand)," Lestat says.
"And you are.... on holidays," Marius says as he tried to think up an excuse for her being here. Lestat knew straight away, that this wasn't going to go well and gave him a displeased look. "Really? Wow! Well, I'm not that well, so I might pack and go... (walks over to the wardrobe) Thank you for your hospitality gentlemen," Jesse says as she starts to pack.
Knowing Marius can read his thoughts, Lestat says in his mind, "I need to talk to you, NOW!". Walking out of the room, the vampire men walked into the lounge room. "What were you thinking Marius? (Paces around the room) She thinks we're a bloody hotel!", Lestat distressfully said. "I know, I know.... but what were we to say? That she is a immortal vampire, you are her lover, (sits on the lounge) I am a thousands apon thousand year old vampire?" Marius said casually.
"What?!" Jesse said. She had came out of her room, Jesse had heard all of what he and Lestat had said. "Jesse? We can explain," Marius said as he arose from the lounge. But, as for Lestat, he stood in his place just staring at Jesse. He knew that if Jesse was to remember anything, it wasn't going to happen with force.
Without hesitation, Jesse grabbed her suitcase and ran. The house was silent, except for the cries from Jesse as she made her way through the house. As she opened the door and ran out, Jesse yelled out, "Just leave me alone!" and slammed the door behind her. |
