All the way thought it, Lestat and Jesse couldn't be separated. Underneath the table, they held each other's hand for support. On the way back to the mansion, the radio was on in the limo. Intensly listening, Jesse took in everything the reportor from the conference said about her.
"My love, (Jesse faintly smiles and looks at Lestat) there is no reason for simple mortals opinions about yourself. Enjoy the spotlight. (Kisses her softly on the lips) You were fantastic," Lestat said for some encouragement. Agreeing with Lestat's comment, Jesse cuddles him. "Thank you Lestat," Jesse sighed out. "Your welcome," Lestat whispered as he saw the other band members falling asleep, as was Jesse.
It was nearly dawn when the limo pulled up at the mansion. Slowly, but gradually, Roger and the others filled out of the back and went to their rooms. However, Lestat was left to take Jesse to bed, but didn't mind at all to it. He loved every moment with her, even when she was asleep. Gently picking her up, Lestat flew to their room where he laid her on the bed.
Kissing her on the forehead, Lestat went into the next room to change. But when Lestat came out of the bathroom, Jesse was also change and seemed to be fully awake. Walking over to her, with his trademark smile, Lestat hoped into bed with her. "Aren't you tired my dear?" Lestat said. Responding with no words, Jesse kissed Lestat which lead to one thing after another.
