Moon Dog Mane
Chicago   99'

I went to see MDM last year at this bar in Chicago. It was definatley one of the
highlights of my Tesla meetings. The band wasn't sure if there was going to be a show. The problem, no P.A.  We arrived quite early and decided to stroll and grab a bite. On our way back I saw Frank walking down the other side of the street. We crossed and I yelled out "Mr. Franky Hannon." He turned, Looking rather surprised, we started talking and took some pics. We hung out for quite a while with the whole band. They were all really cool and down to earth.
Show time finally came around and sorry to say but the room sucked for sound. It was no secrect to anyone. MDM rocked regardless. I am not sure most of the room even knew who MDM was but, I did and was right up front singing every word . They kicked ass. Those who didn't know them realized after a couple Tesla tunes. Frank did this rockin' solo. He was singing Zep's Dazed and Confused. The rest of the band jammed as well. Cortney did an excellent drum solo. Brodie was still having just a little trouble with his voice overall he did well.
After the show the band was hanging out watching the last band of the evening and having a beer. We were hanging with them. Everyone was scattered in the beer garden, in the bar and what not. I was standing around talking to someone and my girlfriend ask if I wanted to "Party" with Frank. Well. of course, I said yes. We went next door to this little add on room of the bar. There we all had a toke. We had a few more drinks until it was time to get on the bus. It was a chance evening that turned into a chance of a lifetime. Thanks to the band for being so cool and rockin' their asses off. I was disappointed to see them break  up. I will have pics on the photo page soon.
