| Scott Raynor is the previous drummer of Blink182. Scott joined the band after Mark and Tom had decided to form a punk rock band in 1992. All that they were missing was a drummer. Scott was already a great drummer so Blink said why not as they added Scott to the band. So Blink went along and made a demo album Flyswatter. Then Blink made a demo for Buddha, followed by Buddha, then Cheshire Cat, and Scott's last CD with Blink was on Dude Ranch which was at the time was there most successful CD. Scott made appearances in 3 of Blink182's music videos which were M+M's on Cheshire Cat, Dammit on Dude Ranch, and also on Dude Ranch Josie. Scott After Dude Ranch then left the band. There are many rumors on why Scott is no longer with Blink. A few of them are these: Scott left the band to go to college. Scott left the band because he thought he had a bigger chance of getting big playing with a different band. Or you might have heard, Scott got kicked out of the band because he got big into beer and acoholic beverages, and the song Man Overboard (Blink182's single off The Mark Tom and Travis Show) was written about him. I personally believe the one about going back to college. Mark likes to say, "Scott left the band because it's none of your business!" So I guess we'll never know what happened to the great drummer named Scott, but we will always remember him!!! |
