Todd Rundgren Music for trade
The damage was done at age 12. My oldest sister had the Something/Anything LP and the rest is history

While she moved on to other music such as Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Joni Mitchell to name a few, Todd became a permanent musical icon in my collection

As years go by, Todd still remains the main musical focus in my life and inspires me to have music in every aspect of my life.

LIARS Reviews

Paul Lester, Uncut, May 2004

No one else would make a record as unfashionable and open to ridicule as this. Rundgren's determination to say something meaningful about what the hell we're really meant to be doing on this planet is, in this dismal age, nothing short of revolutionary. Let him refute his existence? You want the truth? Todd is God. Again.

Independent.co.uk  4-2-04  Andy Gill

A concept album about the "paucity of truth" , it takes pops at political liars, religious deceivers, self-deluding lovers, and, in a neat piece of inlcusive self-deprecation, people who think they're smarter than the average knuckle-dragging moron.
a lyric from 'Liars' ---> "It's so easy to be smart but it's a struggle to be wise".

The Music Index.com 4-2004

All the songs concern us here with lies in one form or another be they're blantant lies, half truths or downright untruths.
Stuart Anderson Musosguide.com 4-2004

Written to tackle the increasing severity of purveyance of lies and untruths in modern society.

Music OMH.com Helen Wright 4-04

The theme is the lies we encounter in our daily lives, running from the little white ones (Happy Anniversary) up to the great big whoppers fed to us by the media, our colleagues or our culture.

The Independent Review
"Todd Rundgren Nothing But The Truth" July 14, 2004

His most single inspiration was the singer-songwriter
Laura Nyro : " To hear someone deliver that material with such personal intensity was a total revelation. The way she played, the superlative musicality, really opened something up to me" He eventually got to meet Nyro, who struck by their fellow feeling, asked him to become her band leader. "I seriously considered the offer but in the end I was afraid to - It felt too big a responsibility".
Tidbits from reviews - covering decades of Todd and his success!
...he's been around and productive for over 30 years, albiet as a rather well-kept secret, a word-of mouth cult...
Looking for...or rather...NEED disc 1 of 6/1/91 Osaka Shinsaibasi "Quattro". Mine literally snapped in half while prying it out of a jewel case!
