| The Who's music and lyrics always catered to a young persons adolescence of growing pains and out-of place-feelings among peers. They wrote timeless anthems about teenage angst, love, lust, and the quest for meaning and individuality. My teenage years, like most of us, could relate to what The Who was saying. They're music made a very large impression on me and became my favorite band and have remained my favorite band today. Pete Townshend was a major force in the lyrics and music with The Who, and as I always say...Pete Townshend IS The Who. |
