| The Grateful Dead was a band that got a late start in to my music collection. It wasn't until I was 19 that I was warmly turned on to this scene. As many people have experienced at a first Dead concert, I fell asleep after 6 songs. At the next show I learned to enjoy the substances that enhance the experience. A new light was shed, though even greater, after that one experience, the music was understood and there was no need for additional enhancers. I never fell asleep again. I have about 50 shows on tape that are very high quality. To list them all would be tiresome at the moment, but while currently converting my tapes to disc, you'll see some of my favorites continue to pop up on this page in disc form.
