| Our bodies are set aside for the purpose of God. As women we have the ability to use our bodies as Eve did for pleasures, personal gain or to manipulate others. We should instead focus on using them as vessels of honor and praise for we are living examples of God's presence guilding our lives. Eve was special in that prior to her fall from grace, she never knew hurt, mistrust, disappointment or lack. When she gave herself along with the apple in the garden, she virtually opened the flood gates for God to place a curse over her life and the lives of women to come. Adam's job at that point was to cover her and protect her from harm and danger. Adam failed in his task in that when Eve came to him with the apple and did eat, his love for her was such that he didnt want to see her in the state of sin alone. For they were one, bound together through marriage and intimacy. He knew her and she knew him so much that she manipulated him with the apple by presenting it along with herself sexually. When men and women are intimate, their lives become intertwined with one anothers mind, body and soul through a soul tie. Soul ties are the original intent of Gods plan for marriage but because we have used sex as a means of personal pleasure, it opens the door to destruction, hurt, abuse, disease and often times death. Intimacy goes beyond the physical release for it leaves a fingerprint on the souls of those involved. It is an impartation of spirits one to the other. When we give our bodies outside the will of God it depletes us in the area of our anointing and effectiveness in God. Our bodies affect our level of anointing in Christ!. Anointing is defined as the "Chrisma" or "Spirit of God". When you jeopardize your bodies by using them outside the will of God you become ineffective for ministry. Every one of us has a calling and mark upon our lives. God created us to win souls to His kingdom. If you are in sexual sin how can you expect to minister others lost in their sin? God gives us the power to pull down strong holds, bind the hand of the enemy and cast out devils. We have the privilege of standing in the gap for someone in need of pray and deliverance but that wont happen when you have sin blocking your own life. When our bodies are not lined up with the word of God we are not effective representatives for Christ and our guards are often down leaving the door open to spiritual attack. Isaiah 10:27 says "And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Sampson was anointed by God not only to fight battles but he was the only man in the bible with strenght in his hair. When he gave himself sexually to Delilah it deminished his ability to focus on the things of God. Soul ties will cause you to be persuaded into revealing the very things God has strengthened you in just as sexual sin can cause you to lose your anointing. You may call yourself lying down with Joe but you may find yourself getting up with Sue, Mary and Moe. So when you lack in the anointing you lack in your salvation with God. Salvation is defined as deliverance from the power and penalty of sin. When one gives away their bodies it affects their anointing to the point where it puts your salvation in question with God's plan. A key example of one who lost their salvation was Judas. He sold out his anointing with God by using his body to betray Jesus through a simple kiss. Judas being a disciple of Jesus spent the entire time with Him during his public ministry. And for a mere 30 shekels of silver, the common price of a slave, Judas not only betrayed Jesus, but he lost his salvation. When his conscience got the better of him he tried to repent and give back the money. Some things we sell out for we can never take back. Judas committed suicide and went to HELL because of his loss of salvation through selling out his body for money. Matthew 16:26-27 says For whosoever will save his life shall lose it and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man shall come in glory of His Father with his angels and then he shall reward every man according to his works. DONT FORFEIT YOUR INHERITANCE! An inheritance can be received by succession or willed as in an heir. Romans 8:14, 16-17 says For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God and if children, then heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. God promised he was leaving to prepare a better place for us all in heaven. As joint heirs we have been adopted into a royal family. Common and carnal things of the world are beneath us and the standards of God. God's plan is that we inherit all that Christ died for. When we are consumed by the cares of this world we leave the door open to make decisions not in our best interest. These decisions rob and cheat us out of our inheritance and blessings from God. Genesis 25:29-34 speaks of Jacob and Esau born to Issac and Rebekah. Jacob's mother deceived her husband and oldest son Esau by devising a plan to steal Esau's inheritance for Jacob on Issac's death bed. Instead of Esau receiving the full blessing promised to him his brother received it. When we step out of the will of God, a curse is placed over our lives that could have lasting implications for our children and our children's children. When Esau was in a weakened condition Jacob persuaded him to give up his birthright for a bowl of food. When we are weakened in our spiritual and physical bodies, we open the door to make bad decisions that carry with us for the remainder of our lives and we open the door to generational curses. The bible goes on to tell that Jacob ends up marrying two women, one he loved and one he was tricked into marrying. The seeds we sow will reap the harvest we grow. Because Jacob sowed seeds of discord between his two wives, Rachael struggled with issues of self esteem and beauty. Remember, Dinah was their daughter and she was raped when she left the confinements of her home to go out to see the daughters of the land. Godly self esteem and beauty has to start early. Girls who are told they were worth something, beautiful and encouraged to be the best they could be in life have a higher value of who they are. So much so that it is safe to say the way we view ourselves determines how others view us. The woman with the issue of blood came from money so she was more than likely trained as a child and it was enforced that she was somebody special. Unfortunately as an adult, she suffered a physical condition that not only drained her physically but also in her finances, beauty and self esteem. She had no friends who would come to visit her least they be considered unclean like she was considered. Her life was one of isolation, pain and suffering. But she heard of a man named Jesus and determined within herself to press beyond where she was and to seek after her healing. She forgot her past, forgot about the money she'd lost and the friends that no longer came to visit. Instead she found herself some courage and strenght to go after Jesus! When she pressed through everything she was dealing with and touched his clothes, immediately she was made whole. Whole in her finances, whole in her body, whole in her health, beauty and self esteem. She was restored to a life of privilege again and able to walk once more in the assurity she was brought up knowing. When one lacks in self esteem, their inner beauty no longer shiles forth. Be mindful of the choices you make concerning you body, mind and spiritual soul. Their lasting effects will carry you throughout your life. KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS! I AM A.... Child of God!
