But he answered her not a word. And his deciples came and besought him saying "Send her away for she crieth after us. But he answered and said I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. Then came she and worshipped him saying Lord, help me. But he answered and said "It is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it to the dogs. And she said Truth Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.. Then Jesus answered and said unto her O woman, great is thy faith be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daugher was made whole from that very hour. |

| In christian society we find that we often make personal assessments about a person's God given calling, talents and abilities based on preconceived notions of what anointed people should look and sound like. If they dont stick their finger in their ear and hoop after bringing a word then they've not preached well. If people dont jump, shout or cry out amen during the course of your message then you've not been successful in your delivery. The longer the skirt and the less make-up on your face determines how holy you are. But in reality, none of us have arrieved. None of us are in a position to say who God can call, use or anoint, because God is only looking to use a willing, submitted servant. And since Christians are so quick to want to cast someone out the way based on appearences or "unctions" about their character or faith walk we sometimes fail to see the very person you are shunning and pushing away may be the very one who can push you to purpose. In this text we find a certain woman with a specific need for her daughter to be delivered from a tormenting demon. Because she did not qualify based on lineage as a Canaanite the bible declares the disciples felt it best to turn her away. But the bible said she did the unthinkable and fell down and worshiped Jesus. This one simple act of submission compelled Jesus to take notice of her situation. He ultimately likened her situation as giving the blessings and provisions for the Children of Isreal to an unworthy Dog. Be wisdom kicked in and the woman reminded Jesus that even the dogs are able to qualify for the scraps and crumbs that fall from the master's table. Her faith inspirted God to reconsider her petition and as a result, He delivered the woman's daughter. There are 6 key principals you need to follow in order to let God know you also qualify for His blessings and provision. 1) Forget the past: There is nothing you can do about it but overcome and move forward. Ask for forgiveness and trust God heard your request. Philipppians 3:13-14 says I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 2) Let nothing or no one deter you: You can not afford to let obsticles override your need for deliverence. Romans 8:39 says For I am persuaded that neighter death nor life, nor things to present, not things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 3)Dismiss those Haters and Recognize their Spirits: Psalm 37:1-5 says Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. They shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord and do good so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him and he shalll bring it to pass. Donkey Spirit: Stubborn, self preservational people who can not be scared into doing anything that doesnt benefit them directly. Can appear friendly until they dont want to be bothered anymore. They are capable of hard work but only when it suits their needs and agenda. Horse Spirit: Prey Animals with fight or flight instincts. Either they will stay and fight fearlessly or run and hide. They possess great power and speed but if you take their legs out they can not stand on their own and die. Pig Spirit: Omnivores who are content with eating slop, staying in dirt, are gluttonous and greedy. They like to keep mess and confussion going. Chicken Spirit: Always scratching at the surface but never really willing to get to the root of the matter. Insist with the pecking order mentality and are territorial. Cow Spirit: Always regurgitating past issues up instead of forgiving and moving forward in life. Cant seem to let it go and digest the past so they can have milk to feed the body of Christ. Mole Spirt: Spy working deep undercover to immobilize their victims before they get caught. The bite off the heads of their prey faster than the human eye can detect, but try to make it appear as if nothing happened at all. When their backs are against the wall the dig ditches and ways of escape until its time to reek more havoc and confusion on others. 4) Worship the Lord: John 4-23-25 says But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth The women saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 5) She got His attention: a- She pressed through the drama, b-It was by any means necessary, c-She cried out from her spirit, d-She got violent with the devil by believing God and not her circumstances. 6) She was bold enough to speak up for herself and tell Jesus Even Dogs Qualify. |
