| We played pretty well this weekend going 1-2 on the day. We ran into our old nemesis the Tailgaters again. Those bastards should be playing C ball. We at least gave them a good game this time - probably the best one they got all day. I think we would have beaten that last team easily if we played them earlier in the day as we looked very tired out there after only 2 games (old out of shape bastards!). We hit very well this weekend scoring about 19 runs per game (fell short in that last game). Played some decent defense other than my efforts in RF that second game and Sterock's problems behind the dish. Ironically that's the one game that we won. Maybe we should be making more errors? I think if we get one more quality OF then I can go behind the dish and Sterock goes to EH. That's where we both wanted to be all along. Rocco did an admirable job over at short playing with us for the first time. Joey had his problems at the plate but didn't let it affect him in the field which is important. As long as you're improving then everything is all right. We're improving. |
