| Spring This time of year That is known as spring Brings back the robin And his song to sing. The buds are out And the lilacs bloom, And not far behind The roses loom. The sky is bright, Then full of rain. The earth is drenched. The sun again To wawm the earth And those thereon Comes surging thru Like another dawn. The grass turns green, The air is clear, And in the midst Love does appear To spread it's yoke On boy and girl, And make their hearts Begin to whirl. Oh, spring you are The birth once more Of all in life That came before. So cast your spell And let it fall Upon the shadows Of us all. George C. Clements |
