| The Lighthouse Be alert, great vessels of the sea If you should ever catch sight of me. I am your friend and mean you no harm, Tis the waters around me that break up the calm. Rocks, shoals, and sandbars Are the footing where I stand. You are made for sailing And not disaster on the land. I stand tall and proud of the duty that I do. In mighty storms and weather serene, Ive guided many a ship and her crew. So send me a salute as you pass me by, For I am a sentinel of where trouble lies. |
