Bio: The man who saved WWF from falling to WCW in 1997-1998, Stone Cold Steve Austin is a beer-swilling, loudmouth SOB that doesn't take crap from anyone. Austin's popularity skyrocketed from his victory in the 1996 King of the Ring over Jake "the Snake" Roberts and his infamous "Austin 3: 16" speech. At Wrestlemanias XIV (defeating Shawn Michaels), XV (The Rock), and X7 (The Rock), he won the World Wrestling Federation Title. Austin has had feuds with some of the greatest superstars in the history of the WWF: in addition to HBK and the Rock, Austin has stood toe to toe (mostly by himself, not that he needs any help) with Superstars like HHH, Mankind, Bret Hart, and, arguably the Saga that saved the WWF, Vince McMahon. The Austin-McMahon feud started in 1998 and continued until a potentially career ending neck injury to the Rattlesnake and his subsequent run down by Rikishi. The Texas Rattlesnake returned in 2000, and started kicking butt early. In 2001, he won his third Royal Rumble and won the WWF Title at Wrestlemania X7, but sold his soul to Vince to get it the title. After Austin jumped ship and joined the Alliance, he seemed destined to be a heel until the fall of the Alliance when the crowd began loving Austin again, partially because they could say "WHAT?!" to any superstar that the Bionic Redneck was facing. Austin faced Chris Jericho at Vengeance to determine the first ever undisputed Champion, but got screwed by Booker T. After being eliminated from the 2002 Royal Rumble, Stone Cold won't go to Wrestlemania as #1 Contender, but he will go into whip somebody's a**. The man who Austin has to face at Wrestlemania is none other than the nWo's Scott Hall! Hall savagely attacked Austin and bashed a cinder block against Austin's knee, but Stone Cold will continue to fight and dish out a whooping at Wrestlemania.
