While still in the WWF, Hogan became the WWF Champion for the first time in 1984 by beating the Iron Shiek. From there, the sky was the limit as Hogan repeatedly won match after match and got TV and movie deals. Then, he suddenly jumped to WCW, but remained the Hulkster and quickly became the WCW Heavyweight Champion. His betrayal of Macho Man Randy Savage shocked many people, but no one could dispute the nWo's success as the most dominant force in professional wrestling. When WCW was bought by the WWF, rumors of the nWo returning were just rumors until Vince McMahon announced that they would be at No Way Out. In less than a day, they cost Stone Cold the WWF Title. Hogan turned his attention to the Rock, and the two will meet in a Fantasy matchup at Wrestlemania. Hogan and the nWo savagely attacked the Rock and Hogan drove a semi into an ambulance containing the Rock. The Rock isn't at 100%, but Hogan will still have to give a heck of an effort to beat the Rock. The biggest match in the History of the World Wrestling Federation will take place at Wrestlemania X-8 in the Skydome on March 17, 2002! |
