| Who will get a shot at the Undisputed Title at Wrestlemania X-8? Kurt Angle, Stone Cold, HHH, Goldust, Big Show, Kane, Billy or Chuck, Undertaker, Al Snow, Albert, Booker T, Boss Man, Bradshaw, Christian, DDP, Faarooq, Godfather, Jeff Hardy, Lance Storm, Matt Hardy, Maven, Mr. Perfect, Perry Saturn, Rikishi, Rob Van Dam, Scotty Too Hotty, Test, the Hurricane, and Val Venis think that each one of them can do it, no problem. A wide spectrum is represented: Returns like Goldust, Godfather, Val Venis, and Mr. Perfect; WWF Title Contenders like Stone Cold, Kane, Undertaker, HHH, and Kurt Angle; as well as upstarts like Maven and losers like Billy and Chuck. It is pretty obvious that Kane (trying to add to his incredible performace last year), Undertaker, HHH, Stone Cold, Big Show, Kurt Angle, Booker T, or RVD are going to win, the question is who. I can answer that with three letters: HHH. 7-8 months of injury let the Game become even stronger, and any remaining rust he has will melt away when it comes down to him and Austin to determine the winner. Whether HHH faces Jericho or Rock at Wrestlemania, he will become Undispiuted Champion. |

| Not much of a shocker, but the fact that he eliminated Faarooq, Mr. Perfect, and Kurt Angle shows that HHH truly deserved to win the Royal Rumble and get an Undisputed Championship Match at Wrestlemania X-8. Returns like Goldust, Godfather, Val Venis, and Mr. Perfect didn't really play into the match that much, but Perfect helped Kurt Angle eliminate Stone Cold. The Undertaker came in and cleaned out his yard, eliminating 4 people, and then both of the Hardyz, despite Lita's help. Next, Maven came in and eliminated the Undertaker thanks to a distraction by the Hardyz. Undertaker dragged Maven (who went from being overjoyed to in shock) through the crowd and eliminated him by busting him open and throwing him through a popcorn machine. Stone Cold came in at #19, and eliminated 5 people, two of them twice! He and HHH (#22) battled, but seemed to help each other out when a new person came in. Though the Hurricane tried to double chokeslam them, not even the Big Show (#27) could do it. Kurt Angle (#26), Kane (#28), Rvd (#29), and Booker T (#30) all were latecomers, but only Angle was in there very long. After he and Perfect eliminated Austin and HHH eliminated Perfect, it was down to the Game and the Olympic Hero. Angle threw HHH over the top rope, but HHH caught himself on the apron and hit Kurt from behind to knock him out and win the Rumble (very similar to Shawn Michael's victory over the British Bulldog, except neither of HHH's feet hit the floor. The Game celebrated after earning a shot at the Undisputed Champ at Wrestlemania. |
