| William Regal has to be favored over Edge because of those devastating brass knuckles that he always carries with him or can find during a match. Several times leading up to this match, Regal has plastered Edge, knocking the IC Champ down and out. But Edge has shown a resilience that is incredible, but even he snapped on Smackdown! (1/17) by taking out Test, Regal, and Nick Patrick with viscious chair shots. Edge definitely has the advantage in variety and number of finishers, but the British southpaw will win if he can get those brass knuckles out. Though Edge is the fan favorite, Regal will use brass to get IC Gold in this match. |

| William Regal didn't just have one trick up his sleeve (or down his pants), but two as he pulled out a second pair of brass knuckles and decked Edge with them to win the IC Title. Nick Patrick found one pair in Regal's pants earlier, and it looked we were going to have a fair match. Regal locked in the Regal Stretch, but Edge got to the ropes and then put it on Regal. Edge set up to spear Regal, but the Brit used the ref as a shield. Then, he got out the second set of brass knuckles and konked Edge to win the IC Title. Afterwards, Regal thanked the good lord above for the "Power of the Punch." |
