| Perhaps only rivaled by Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG as best RPG for the Super Nintendo, Final Fantasy VI has a rich story with a wide diversity of characters at your disposal. Final Fantasy VI truly revolutionized the Final Fantasy games and paved the way for future success with Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X, on the PS1 and PS2, respectively. Though at first it appears the main target of your attack is the Empire, one man will make a power grab and will battle you to the edge of death. Final Fantasy VI (3 in the US) has enough characters that allow for more than 1 quest to be going on at the same time.
