Our hero on this quest, Crono prefers to be the strong but silent type, using his powerful sword and strong Lightning Magic to blast away his enemies.  On a seemingly innocent trip to the Millenial Fair, Crono will find himself thrown into an adventure with time travel and trying to save the world against insurmountable odds.  Luckily, Crono will meet friends and allies along the way to deal with his infamous foes, but will their combined power be enough???

Marle first encounters Crono at the Millenial Fair, but winds up getting teleported to 600 AD when she goes on Lucca's transporter with her own special pendant.  At first, she manages to trick Crono into thinking of her as a normal girl, but Lucca can see through the disguise of Princess Nadia, heir to the throne in 1000 AD!  Marle's Bow is not very powerful, but her Magic skills are powerful and crucial as she is the first character to have healing spells to aid the party in battle.  Marle's runs into danger, but often is forced to rely on her friends to pull her out of trouble.

This brilliant inventor is one of Crono's best friends and is always there to help him.  She aids Crono in searching for Marle, who got teleported to 600 AD.  Lucca's Gun isn't very powerful, but her Magic skills are very powerful and her Flame Toss Technique is the most powerful and most important tech until your characters gain the use of Magic.  Lucca's Accessory, the Sightscope, allows you to know how much HP enemies (not including bosses) have left.  Techniques:

Bio:
A master swordsman, Frog is the first member of the party to not be from 1000 AD.  Frog is far from an ordinary tadpole, and seems destined to face the powerful evil wizard Magus in a tremendous confrontation.  Frog has a very powerful Blade, but his magic attacks are a little weaker than Crono's.  However, this swordsman can handle the legendary Masamune, a blade that could possibly be the key to defeating Magus.

Bio:
Robo joins up with Crono and his friends in the future, a poor desolate place.  After being repaired by Lucca, Robo aids the team by granting them access to a factory that can let them reach a gate.  When the task is completed, Robo decides to join the team in their quest to save the world.  As you can tell from his lack of Magic (no soul is Spekkio's explanation), his Magic attacks aren't powerful, but can hit a large amount of enemies or heal the party.  Robo relies on his powerful arms to bash in enemies on the quest.

Character Name: Ayla

Bio:
Ayla jumps into the scene by aiding the party in their battle against a group of Reptites.  Ayla is the leader of the Ioka Tribe, a group of people fighting against the Reptites for independence and control.  Ayla's sworn enemy is Azala, the Reptite Leader with Ayla's backup chief being the jealous Kino, who steals the group's gate key following a long party.  Ayla has no magic, but some decent techniques including Charm, which allows Ayla to occasionally steal items from enemies (Click here for Ayla's Charm List).  Ayla's fists are unmatched in strength, and allows her to still attack on the Blackbird (see Walkthrough).  Ayla shows respect to the brave, strong, and those that can beat her at drinking soup.

Bio:
An evil sorcerer resonsible for Frog's current body, Magus is the leader of the Mystic Army, who is attempting to overthrow the Kingdom of Guardia.  Magus is believed to have summoned the dark, all powerful-being Lavos in 600 AD, but Magus' lack of ability to control the creature weakens that theory.  Magus is primarily Shadow Magic, but also has one spell each for Fire, Ice, and Lightning.  Magus is an optional character to have join the party later in the game following a major story point, but his powerful Magic and decent Physical attacks are almost too good to pass up.
