Job Description : C.N.C. Punch (Amada) Operation. Shear, Brake (manual & Computerized - Hurco) & other accessory shop tools. At home, I constructed an interface between my computer and an I.B.M. model 33 teletype machine and designed a software program that allowed computer control of the teletype machine. I was then able to read and write onto teletype tape. This tape could be read by the Amada (at work) and I was able to write punch programs at home using this method. I wrote / edited approximately one-hundred punch programs for Mr. Malish and Radx Corporation for which I was paid.

I wrote an entire database system (customized) for the Pasadena Fire Department, whereby records of alarms, drills, special events, Firefighters, equipment and water usage etc... could be entered, edited and various required state reports could be automatically generated. There was also a built-in query that would search the database and display any and/or all data concerning any field, or combination of fields and a hardcopy generated if desired. Counting program and data files, the database consists of one-hundred and forty-four files. The database package has been in use by all stations in the Pasadena Fire Department system since November 1995.
