JPMac's Story

When I was in Middle School as we call it here, or you might say Jr. High School (6-8 grade), in music class one day a week was "bring your own music" . So here I am, a Beatles fan since I was 4-5 and now I'm 12ish,  and I bring in Beatles, Paul McCartney & Wings. The other kids liked what I'd brought to play. But when they found out who they were, they decided they didn't like it! Their argument was that The Beatles were no more, and they are now just old past history and weren't into the show, which makes them unfit for being liked!.  However, a couple of my best friends started asking me if they could borrow some of my Beatles etc. But instead of lending them my records, I recorded some tapes for them. These tapes did not contain not all of the popular stuff like Let It Be, Yesterday, etc. You know the stuff that the radio played all the time. That made a big difference. Now both of them are big into The Beatles and love them almost as much as I do :) .There is a difference between Beatles Fans and just Beatles collectors. I fall into the category of Both. I collect Beatles music, Bootlegs etc, promo stuff and all that. Music first. Some collectors don't even really care for The Beatles, they just collect them for value, I don't. I collect them for my own personal use and collection.
