Cooking on gas stoves was a must on this camp. If you wanted to eat - you cooked it and cleaned yourself.  As for hot water there was none touchable, so that had to be boiled as well

Most people had eggs for breakfast, dehy for lunch and there was a mixture for tea.
$ Money

The Le Bons Bay $5 note was a very important part of the camp.  If you had not bought the right amount of food then you could go to the kitchen and buy the right stuff so you could eat your meal or get a drink.

It was made to good us with one patrol spending $65 of the $100 each patrol started with
Campfires Sparkling

The Saturday night Campfire started of well with the Scouts gathering wood from dead trees which was carted from the domain back to the backyard of the hall.
Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt went well with David giving us the first clue and Baghera with the last.  Nobody got permanantly lost. There were clues like "find flicks house" which led us to the chocolate biscuits and a pooh bear easter egg.
Toilet Time

Also on Saturday we went to the beach where we saw a stingray and a dead sheep.  We dug a hole and put her into it, although we didn't bury the stingray although it too was dead.

We then built Sand Sculptures - a city, a car and a long drop.
The Creek Walk

On Saturday we did the waterfall walk.  We climbed a road which led to a hugh waterfall. The walk took about 50 minutes.  We decided we would stay up ther for lunch so we had to carry our bags of food and stuff.

Once we got there we found we couldn't get close enough to see the waterfall, so some of us walked along the creek until we were told to go back down to the bottom of the creek and have our lunch.

After that we collected some plants as souveniers of our trip and walked back to the "Old Hall".
On Friday 5th September, the Dallington Scout Troop
went to Le Bons Bay's "Old Hall" for our camp.

We stayed until Sunday 8th September and
then we came home.
The Le Bons Bay Camp (one Scouts perspective)
It was going quite well with songs like "I
know a song that gets on Everyones Nerves" and "Goodbye Longjohns", then the fire started to have sparks come out of it like those fireworks sparklers which was quite cool to look at then we went to bed at about 8:30pm !
