My fellow Democrats:

We have an opportunity to win back Dallas County for our party with the coming elections this year - and WE WILL! I am prepared to work hard to help. This is why I have decided to run for the office of State Democratic Executive Committeeman (S.D.E.C.) for the 8th Senate District. I will work hard for all our candidates and especially hard in our Senate District 8 to get out the vote, to organize and energize our voters, and help our Precinct Chairs with whatever they need to revitalize the party.

As Chair at our District Convention in April, as Precinct Chair and as Election Judge, I have been made aware of how little we are active party members in SD8. Those who attended our convention ARE energized. We got a lot of work done and had a great time, but we need MORE PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE. If we are going to beat the Rs, we have to get our act together! So let's do it! We don't have much time. November is coming upon us quickly. That is why I am asking for your vote as a member of the State Democratic Executive Committee.
