Welcome to the home page for #Vampires_of_Dallas, an IRC based roleplaying game of White Wolf's Vampire the Masquerade located on the SorceryNet servers.
Obsidian Pyramid, a night club located in Deep Ellum; minutes from Dallas` Downtown core, caters to the weekend crowds looking for something a little different in their night life. It also caters to a much Darker side of Dallas. Here the Kindred gather nightly, the Prince reins, deals are made and broken along with the reputations of the wise or unwary.
Two nights a week the doors open to admit the crush of mortal bodies to 'The Tomb', the first floor of the three story building. With it's blacked out windows, only the pulse of music from within gives those outside a hint at what lays in wait for them. For those that enter, perhaps more then they thought waits beyond the black glass doors.
An enticing combination of the ancient and modern fills the senses as much as the beats of the music does here. A thin layer of fog rolls across the floors; stirred to dance with those moving through it. Soft cobalt blue lights glow through the fog, spreading from beneath the oddly clear floors. While obsidian pillars rise up to be lost in the darkness high above. Spinning, swirling, flashing lights illuminate the polished pillars, showing off the hieroglyphs a sharp eye might catch.
Some sharp eyes remain constantly attentive, raking over the crowds gathered to dance and drink. Watching to protect and uphold the traditions and laws the mortals have unknowingly stepped into the realm of. Some few come this way, the VIP's who mingle and disappear into backrooms; to the second floor where the curious always try to find their way, but only the 'worthy' ever make it past the bouncers.
The music from below is muted here, almost completely unheard once the second floor was reached. The decor dark and accented by gold it was a far richer room then that below. Here the Kindred came to gather under the old laws of Elysium; safe haven. They came on all nights, some secretly and quietly though here they were safe to be what they truely were.
Many gathered around the central bar in the middle of the room, the golden compass painted on the floor an enigma of the mind which designed this place. Here again obsidian pillars rose up from the floors, the soft lights of the room illuminating the golden inscriptions
Quiet booths along the far wall offer a small amount of privacy in their shadows, while elsewhere black marble topped tables are provided for groups to gather at. Ghouled staff wait to bring the finest crimson drinks to the patrons here.  To the north east and south east corners are arranged six larger tables, each with a clan symbol of blood red stone inlaid to the black marble. North gathered the Brujah, Nosferatu and Tremere, to the South the Toreador, Ventrue and Malkavian.
The third floor holds the offices of the Prince, the Seneschal and the Keeper of Elysium. Private offices accessable only by 'invitation'.
Separate from Obsidian Pyramid, but not very far away, is the building housing the Sheriff's office and a training facility. Elysium has never extended here, it is a place for the rough and tumble to train and challenge and perhaps for the Sheriff and Scourge to hand out a little Justice in the name of the Prince.
A little plot of beauty and peace in the city, the rooftop has been converted into a garden, even when temperatures get a little chilly a beautiful tropical garden blossoms everlasting inside a carefully tended greenhouse. Lush gardens with paths and benches surround it for quiet conversation.
