THE MIRANDE EXPERIENCE (part 2)
When I landed, we realized that the dinner was at 9,30 pm and it was 9,15 pm, so we hardly had enough time to go changing our clothes and come back. But we did. We were the last to come, except for the stars, of course. They were on a stand about one meter over us and we were very close to them. There were two or three tables for the Dallas fans, some of them with the French friends we were growing to appreciate really quickly.

The stars came and that included Charlenes daughter, and Larrys and Steves wives. They were ovationed and they ovationed us and the rest of the people sitting at the many tables. The stars took pictures of us with their small cameras and everyone was so glad. Of course every fan was there to see them again, and surprisingly, Patrick looked even more handsome now.

After dinner, I saw a blonde girl talking to Steve who seemed to call Lindas attention. I had the courage to get closer to them and very casually, participate in the conversation (yes, I know that was rude, but you dont meet a Dallass star everyday). Anyway, I did want to know if Colin had come at the end, and she seemed to know him. We chatted, and Steve stayed with us for a minute. Note: the girl was Dustys girl (a French member of the UD Forum), no lessas I knew later.

My minute with Steve Kanaly: Again, I needed to get something from our stars to share with you all. The first thing I remember is that he said that it was not a funny part (!!). I knew that from the last chat interview, Steve had been boring for years due to the writers lack of interest in his part.

I told Steve that I had a Spanish website and he spoke about the power of the net (I seem to recall) and how he tried to transmit to his Dallass former co-stars (but still friends), the better things he read on Ultimate Dallas, though not the worse. Steve showed himself as a very caring man who worries a lot about his friends feelings and I think he also cares about us the fans. Ask dear Dustys girl and find out if she finally met Linda

Other flashes: Linda and all the gang dancing and waving to us now and then, the bodyguards really sweating to do their hard work, Cherishs face oozing beauty and youth at the table, and, at the end, the stars gonethe empty table, their cards still on the mantle (or not?), the wine bottles half-full, and, the most important thing, the feeling of joy in our fan hearts. The fireworks were the background of our last image of the group...
Two words: la Mirande. Or the place where we met the Ewings. Thank you to every person who was kind to us and contributed to keep the experience intense and unforgettable...
