Over two years after she left DALLAS, in October 1989, VICTORIA arrived at Barcelona to film a glitzy Christmas commercial for the Freixenet Catalan Champagne brand. She was paid 19 million pesetas of the time, and danced and sang directed by Juanjo D�az and choreographed by Larry Fuller.
At the press conferences she held about it, the actress confessed that she had always wanted to try musical genre, that she would love to work in Spanish movies and that she wasn�t interested in the DALLAS subject: �I keep excellent memories of all of them and I�d love to co-star with them again, but not on DALLAS�.
The child actor who portrayed J.R.�s son during 7 years, and then again on the First Reunion, travelled to Madrid in 1992 to shoot an episode of the ZORRO series. He had just finished the filming of movie �Adventures in Dinosaur City�, and, at his 15 years, didn�t look like peculiar JOHN ROSS from DALLAS any more.
CHARLENE TILTON (1999):
CHARLENE returned to Barcelona 10 years after her second and final departure from DALLAS. She was interviewed again on Catalan TV3, this time by popular journalist ALFONS AR�S. She wore an unusual short style and black leather clothes, and proved she has a great sense of humor and self-parody, and behave more properly than in her first visit to Spain.
Among other things, CHARLENE confirmed that her ex JOHNNY LEE had made no contribution to their daughter�s raising, that her mother had died of cancer, that everyone got along on the show�s filming, and that she was very independent from her mother since her early teens. She funnily commented the kind of education she had been giving to her grown-up daughter CHERISH, and that she had decided to follow her steps and be an actress.
When the host reminded that �PAM�s car accident� had become a dream, CHARLENE kept on joking without correcting him, and said that she wasn�t on the show by then. Lastly, she didn�t hesitate to promote her latter and very modest projects for the Disney Channel and offered herself as a presenter, as she flirted with him very graciously.
On November 10, 1999, the actor came to Barcelona in order to participate in the campaign pro Organ Donation, which included an appearance in the TV3 Telethon called LA MARAT�. Besides he was photographed at the Catalan location of El Vendrell, during a special golf tournament. 4 years after having received a new liver himself, LARRY was quick to talk about DALLAS, the shooting phenomenon and, of course, transplants:
�Now I�m using J.R. as a paladin of the Transplant Donation. We recycle everything: pneumatics, aluminum, plastic, everything. Why not recycle ourselves...?�
