Today's Boston Metro reports that the City of Toronto, in order to attract greater numbers of gay American tourists, has doubled production of its gay travel brochures and launched a marketing campaign in some gay magazines in the United States. The article went on to say that Toronto is home to Canada's biggest gay community, estimated at 250,000. "Toronto's Gay Pride Festival, second largest after San Francisco's, brought more than 800,000 people to the city in June and an estimated $40-million economic injection."

Andrew Sullivan says that a poll for the Center for the Study of Taxation shows that 82 persent of gay voters in the United States want to see the estate tax repealed.
