| Charlie was born on March 3rd, 2004. I found Charlie at a pet store in Rock Forrest. He was there with his brother and sister. He was the first kitten to get up and walk around. His nose is what got me. I had never seen a cat with colouring like he had. He was so small at only seven or eight weeks old. My friend Correne was there when I picked hime out. We took him home in a carboard box and he cried the whole way home. It sounded like a baby crying. I set up his litter, food and water in the bathroom. I kept him in a small space until he grew more comfortable in the apartment by himself. One of my favourite things about Charlie is that he does not have any claws. At first I thought that that was something really cruel to do to a cat. Aactually I still think it is very cruel, but the problems it has prevented I am sure it has far out weighed the pain it had caused him at a young age. I would not be happy with a cat that ruins furniture and I would not have Charlie today because of it. Charlie knows when I am feeling sad or upset. When I am lying on my bed or couch feeling down he will always come up to cuddle with me. He sometimes even massages the back of my neck with his soft paws.I love that he is always there for me, no matter what. |
