I" know that the main vein of music is Country says" Dallas but I believe there is a need for my type of music in this area. Everyone would have to go to Chicago, Dallas, or Houston to be able to see the type of Show that we are putting on. It is a show. We are not your average band
Dallas Heart is very unique to say the least. She takes Jazz Standards and puts an underlay of funk to make it fun. She can sing the down and dirty blues as well.

Everywhere Dallas Heart plays professional musicians tend to show up which Dallas takes as a wonderful compliment. She has had musicians set in on her show which usually turns into a great fun filled night. She remembers not too long ago Billy Woodruff from the drifters showed up and they sang a whole set together.. What at time the crowd had when they sang the duet "Thrill is gone" it brought the house down.
You never know who will stop in to play with Dallas..You can see musicians turn up from Tower of Power, Annie Lenox, Doobie Bro's, KoKo Taylor, Carlos Santana, John Lee Hooker Jr, Dr. John, The Platters, or who else is in town just coming off tour. The migrate to where Dallas is playing. It is always a great night.
Her Southern Warm charm is a winner. She will make you laugh at songs like "I want to play with your poodle" and then turn around and sing a sultry song such as "Summer Time" which leaves the audience speechless. Her warm tones haunt your fibers
