Dear Dalipardon,
I've recently met a woman I've fallen head over heels for. The problem is I am a bisexual transvestite and I'm having trouble courting her. I don't know how to convince her I am not a freak, but her dream....man. I met her at a goth club, where it is not uncommon for people like me to be. I know she must somewhat open-minded if she was there in the first place. Since that night, I have been around her a couple times in group situations, but never alone. I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm gay. How can I get her to go out with me?

Well, it sounds like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. The kind of woman that would be attracted to a man in drag would fall in the fetish category. A goth club is definitely a place to meet women with fetishes. Whether this woman you desire has a fetish for trannys, I am assuming you do not know. What I am trying to say is, yes, there is a chance she may go out with you. What I would do, the next time you're going to be around her, is put the dress back in the closet for the evening. I'd trade it in for a nice skin-hugging black mesh shirt or ruffled poets shirt and black PVC pants. That's a very unisex outfit that looks damn sexy whether you're a boy or a girl. Test it out, and see how she responds. Flirt with her, if she sends you the vibe, you're in. Women can find men in drag rather intimidating sometimes, especially if they don't know you. If she responds to you differently in pants, that's probably why. If things go well and she accepts your invitation, you know she likes you for you, since she's been around you while you were in drag. So, there's no need to go jumping back in to the closet. The point I'm trying to make is that when it comes down to it, she must like you for you.
