The Dalhart SDA church is finally meeting in their new church building. The building is not complete but fortunately in this part of the country there is no need for an occupancy permit to meet together. You could say we have brought the New Year in with a new church. It is our desire to grow and share the good news of Christ’s soon coming to our community. Our old churches fellowship hall was downstairs and inaccessible to our older members, leaving an empty feeling to our meals. Now we look forward to have all participate in church events bringing back the balance of the church.

 

Every time we worship we can look around us and say thank you Lord, thank you for not giving up on us. Even though there were times and still might be times to come when we feel we can’t go on, you have shown us that with God all things are possible. Even building a 4000 stft church building with no more than 25 people can go up if God wills it.

 

As I have said we have more to do for its completion and so we praise God for this dream come true and pray that every day for all we can do the work that He has given us to do.
