REVIEWER'S PERSONAL OPINION. This is one of 3 and I love them all. This is a great tape for beginners. It is done in simple sequencing. He covers everything from how to inflate to the different kinds of balloons. When I looked at this tape I was amazed how many things I still use from Joe�s stuff. The quality is great, the photography is good, and Joe has a great teaching style. If you do a lot of line work there are some good ideas on this DVD.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES: This is a great value, among other things. The VHS tapes can be purchased for around ten dollars. All three tapes are around 30 dollars with DVDs slightly higher. If you are a beginner and money is tight, this is a great investment.
WHAT I LIKED AND DIDN'T LIKE:
I was a little put off by the clown costume but other than that this is one of my favorites. It does use a large amount of different balloons including hearts, bees, and geos. I also like the fact that he explains each of the basic twists. He covers apple twist, loop twist, ear twist, Z twist.
Ashes Test: This is one of the first tapes I did replace after the fire. It is a definite yes.
