CONTENT AND SUMMARY: The CD contains lots of hats. Bluebird (6 balloons), Cyclops (9 balloons) Cobra (3), Hen (7), Mr Chub (8), Twisty sweetheart (5), Ocean (6), Penguin (4), Rooster (6), Turkey (11), Goofy bird (6 ballooons).
REVIEWER'S PERSONAL OPINION. There are lots of interesting things on this CD but I found it hard to negotiate. Each item was several pages and each item was a separate file so it was not easy to go from one to the other. Bonnie uses a lot of different sizes of balloons in each structure. I tend to try to streamline things, so I found needing 3 sizes of balloons plus sometimes a specialty round a bit tedious.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
It has lots of great new hat ideas The pictures are clear and very detailed. The biggest weakness is that she does not show the finished structure up front. So as you work through it, you have to go to the end to see what you are building
WHAT I LIKED AND DIDN'T LIKE:
I loved the penquin, twisted heart and bluebird hats. I did not like the excessive number of balloons sizes needed for each structure. Royal Sorrel has a much easier Chicken hat. I think in my old age I am following in Dave Bartlett�s 260-only footsteps.
Ashes Test: (Would I replace this if the house burned down -- again)
If I find one thing on a tape or in a book that I plan on using on a regular basis, the answer is "maybe." Bonnie's CD has three I will use so, yes, I would buy it again.
