| Spanner was born in Indiana, where he enjoyed hiking at the Salamonie Reservoir with Buffy and Max. |
| When he was two, we moved to Michigan, where he went to fun matches with Buffy, Dutch Boy, and Gunner, earned his CD title and went to the World Series Dog Obedience Tournament. |
| Spanner became a Buckeye when he was five, and spent the remainder of his years playing and going for walks with Rocky and Cody. And, oh yes, he won a few veteran novice classes, too. |
