3-15-09  Red's amazing neckwear.  It looks like the halter he was wearing recently, is now wrapped around his neck.  At the right, you can see his box has no roof across the back, and water is funneled right in by the truck bed liner on top.  No boards around the bottom either.
3-15-09  Star is in heat, and the yellow male has climbed into her pen.  He can't get to her right now because his tether is too short.  They were like this when the owners came home and nothing was done about it until they were caught getting down to business in the pen.  The male was then hauled over the fence, the owners left, and he promptly climbed back into Star's pen.  No effort was made to prevent this.
3-15-09  While the owners were home, the dogs got fed.  Star has food on her roof, as does the spotted male in the background, and a couple of other ones.  RPM's food is in the lavendar bowl, but he's having an awful time getting any of it.  The owner never did help him out.  Seems cruel to me.  Most of the dogs eat off the ground, as the yellow male is doing, in Star's pen.
3-15-09  This is one of two black and tans that were running loose while the owners were home.  The Mrs. wasn't able to catch this one  before she left, and she was at large until the next day.  Now she runs loose all the time, and is definitely in need of worming.  The proof is on my property.
3-15-09  I hate to say what's going on in Star's pen, but you can probably guess.  Yes!  She and the yellow male are doing the deed!  He has won the stud lottery!  The Red Pup at the left, and RPM, at the right, want to play, too.
3-15-09  Star and her boyfriend have tied the knot.  Thanks to the post, we can't see the details, but, trust me, they are tail to tail, and they remained that way for some time.
3-16-09  The madness continues. The owner has "fixed" the problem, she thinks, by leaving the male in Star's pen, and putting Star in the male's pen.  Too late to worry about it, but she doesn't seem to know that.  Now Star has got out, RPM is making advances, and yellow male is having a conniption.

3-16-09  The owner has put Yellow Dog in the pen at the right, and then added two puppies!  RPM tries to mate with Star, who is his mother, by the way, but the yellow male gets pretty agitated.  This brings an aggressive reaction from Star, which then triggers RPM to defend himself, and that's the end of almost wedded bliss.  Now they are fighting, getting tangled up temporarily with their tethers.  The owner was home most of the day, and it was one crazy thing after another.  I hear dog racket all evening and into the night.
3-16-09  RPM and Yellow Dog fighting through the fence.  They did this more than once.  Doesn't seem like a safe place for puppies, but they seem to have survived unscathed.  Before the day was half over, Chloe, who had been moved from her nice dog house to Yellow's trashy one, was moved back again; Yellow Dog went back to his box; the black and tan puppy was caught and put in the tool shed.  I left for work, and who knows what went on while I was gone?  I fall asleep to the disturbing sounds of dogs in a state of high agitation, and maybe fighting.  Can it get any worse?
