Jacob Sines' Will Mason County, West Virginia I, Jacob Sines of Mason County, West Virginia, a farmer do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills made by me at any time hereafter made. and first I direct that my body be decently intombed in the burying of the neighborhood in the said County of Mason and that my funeral be in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life and as to such worldly estate as it was intrusted to me. I dispurse of the same as follows. First I direct That all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first moneys that shall come into the hands of my executors from my portion of my estate real or personal. Also I direct a fair valuation or appraisement be made by three judicious neighbors of all my said estate including my household furniture and after being signed with their names that a copy of the same shall be given by those to each of my executors. I bequeath to Peter Sines, my son all the land being north of the south line of the upper clover field with said line in fence across the entire tract of land owned by me to be his possession forever. I bequeath the remaining part or parcel of land lying south of said Peter Sines land to my beloved wife and to John Sines my son and my wife as long as she remains my widow. After the death or marriage of the widow to go into the hands of, said John Sines, to be his possession forever. I bequeath to Henry J.J. Sines my son one hundred dollars to be paid when earned from the farm. I bequeath to Sophia Hyatt my daughter fifty dollars to be paid when earned from the farm. I bequeath to Eva Gill my daughter seventy five dollars to be paid when earned from the farm. I bequeath to Abigail Wilcoxen my daughter fifty dollars to be paid when earned from the farm. All my personal property such as horses, cattle, sheep, hogs, and all farming utensils also all my household and kitchen furniture I give with the south part of the land. I bequeath to Issac Sines my son ten dollars when earned from the farm. In witness whereof I, jacob Sines, the testator have to this my will written on that of paper set my hand and seal this seventh day of March One thousand sixty five Jacob Sines Joseph Harper James Mitchell Signed sealed and delived in the presence of the above witnesses. At a circuit court [can not make out word] and held for the county of Mason at the court house [can out make out 5 words] the 2nd day of September 1865. The last will and testament of Jacob Sines, late of this county, deceased, was this day fully proved by the oaths of James Mitchell and Joseph Harper subscribing witnesses thereunto and was thereupon ordered, to be recorded.
