"LINAAAA!!!!!!!!!!" Kara cried. Her mind raced. What was she to do?! She had to get James! THEN the two would discuss over the matter…but while all this was going on?!?! "What to do?! What to do?!"

Kara’s car took a turn and kept on going, the attack from the androids going on around her.

Viole walked through the prison cell, making sure everything was going well. His eyes scanned each cell, taking in every detail. He looked at a particular cell, and that was when he saw a hybrid mumbling to herself in an unknown language. The new prisoner, he thought.

Mekhasa raised her eyes to see Viole staring at her. Her expression changed from sadness to hatred. Her teal-colored eyes flashed dangerously. "GRARGH!!!!" she roared, lunging at the bars. "LET ME OUT, HUMAN! OR ELSE I’LL MAKE YOU REGRET THE DAY YOU WERE BORN!!" she snarled, rattling the bars violently. The purple outlining of the pupils of her eyes seemed to glow and spread, overlapping the teal color. Her eyes glowed so brightly that it illuminated her face which was hidden in the shadows.

Viole was taken aback by the sudden move and took a step back. Quickly recovering himself, he drew his sword and jabbed at Mekhasa, causing her to draw back. "Quiet! I’m not letting you out even if you were the last person on Gaea!"

Mekhasa’s growls turned into evil chuckles. "But I’m not a person, am I now?" she said with an evil grin. The glow from her eyes didn’t leave. It stayed, making her look more sinister and hostile than she really was.

Viole glared at the hybrid, then walked away, grumbling to himself. "Smart mouth!"

Mekhasa watched Viole leave, chuckling. She sat down on the ground and stared at the bars for a moment, then, suddenly, she laughed hysterically as if she was insane. "AHAHAHA!!!!! DESTROY!!!!!" she cried. "DESTROY!!!!!" She got up and opened her claws to their full extent, then tackled the door. She tore at the door, threw herself against it, kicked it, but nothing helped. However, the hysterical laugher stayed.

The other prisoners looked stared at her, wide eyed. She was insane!!!

"DEATHLUST COME TO ME!!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!" Mekhasa cried, her eyes glowing brighter and brighter. Her attempts to break down the door became more powerful, and now her claws were actually digging into the door, and her tackles made dents. She screamed and laughed at the door as if it was some sort of living adversary, calling it by many profane insults. "Come on! You can do better than that!!! KILL ME!!!! GO ON!!! KILL ME!!!! Oh, you’re just going to stay there are you?!?! Well, may Doenna, the angel of destiny, curse you to the gate of the devil!!!! AHAHAHA!!!!"

"I wouldn’t like to be fighting against her if I was in battle against her nation…. She’s WILD!" said a prisoner to himself. He watched in horror-filled fascination as a tackle from Mekhasa caused a big bump to rise out of the outer part of the door.

Mekhasa staggered back, her claws worn down until they weren’t as sharp as they used to be, her shoulders bruised and her feet aching. "Stubborn little thing aren’t you?" she said, rubbing a bruised shoulder. "Well, Mista, I’m as stubborn as you are! You just wait! I’m gonna break you down someday! Oh yes, you just watch!"

The door just stood there, immobile. It taunted Mekhasa, daring her to break it to shreds, and Mekhasa accepted the dare willingly.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Lina got up to find herself on a small bed. She sat up and looked out the window with half open eyes. Where was she? Her mind was still a bit dull, having just awaked from unconsciousness. She gasped. The window was barred! What the…?! In panic, she looked around to figure out where she was. It was a prison cell! She ran to the bars and peered outside. In the cell across from hers, a hybrid was sitting down, muttering insults at the door to her cell. "Hello?" she called.

The hybrid ignored her and continued to mutter at the door.

"Don’t talk to her. She’s insane! She tried to break down that door, yelling at it to try and kill her for hours now! She’s raving mad I tell you!" said another prisoner.

Lina stared at the hybrid. Is this one of the hybrid Mom kept on talking about? she asked herself. She was taken aback when the hybrid suddenly pounced at the door again, screaming and yelling. "Oh my GOSH!" she cried, backing away quickly.

"KILL ME, YA STUPID DOOR!!!! GO ON KILL ME!!!!!" Mekhasa screamed. She punched the door with such a force that it made a huge dent at the cost of a broken finger. Mekhasa roared and withdrew her fist to nurse it. She glared at the door and grinned. "Nice move! You broke my finger. Huh, but a broken finger isn’t good enough!" Mekhasa said. She sat down on the floor again and continued to glare at the door.

A soldier walked by, and stopped by Mekhasa’s door, staring in shock at the large bump that arose from it. He glared at Mekhasa. "You better stop what you’re doing or else you’re going to regret it!" he told the hybrid.

Mekhasa’s glare shifted to the soldier. An evil grin spread across her face. "Nice, very nice. Gathering recruits now, eh?" she told the door. "However, that move is dishonorable! Two against one, HAH! You’re kidding me!"

The soldier stared at Mekhasa as she talked to the door. "What on Gaea are you doing?!" he said.

Mekhasa arose and walked up to the bars. She leaned forward. "Want me to tell you something?"

The soldier raised his eyebrows. "What?"

Mekhasa grinned eviily. "I bet I can kill you."

The soldier made a grimace. Man, this is one morbid hybrid! he thought.

Mekhasa chuckled and began to rattle the bars. "I want to see if I could though. Could you get me out?" she said in a soft voice.

The soldier, more or less shocked by Mekhasa’s actions, hurried out of the prison cell, not looking back at the insane hybrid.

"You don’t wanna help me do the experiment? Well, some other time then," Mekhasa said. Her violet eyes flashed, then slowly resumed its original teal color with a violet outlines. She staggered for a moment, then slumped onto her bed. Her limbs ached and her head throbbed. "Man, I hate the aftermath of deathlust…" she groaned.

Deathlust was what Neo-Hybrids were now born with. It used to be a mental illness which was caused by battling too much, causing the hybrid to lose his or her mind and start killing savagely…with pleasure. Now, the hybrids were born with it. Little cubs occasionally experienced the effect, leading to the death of their friends…or even family. Luckily, the healers had found a way to control the excitement and the surge of energy. That was when the eye defects came in. Hybrids took the medication, the affect successful. Yet…the cubs had eye defects. The usual colors were amber, but now the colors varied, and like Mekhasa, some even changed color according to their mood.

Mekhasa massaged her temples with one paw for a moment as she lay down on her bed. "Brother…" she whispered. She stared out the window for a moment, then went to sleep.
