Viole awoke at the sound of the alarm. What the…?! He got out of his bed and donned his armor. The others were doing the same, confused about all the commotion. After dressing, they ran down the halls and got into their guymelefs. It was then when they saw a band of something similar to their guymelefs were approaching.
"What?!?!" Viole muttered.
The others were shocked as he was. During their time as Dragonslayers, they never saw such things. Well, whatever they were, they were enemies, and enemies had to be eliminated! The Dragonslayers attacked the incoming group of intruders.
Mekhasa, who was leading the band of twelve (not including her), clashed with the guymelef which was the first to come close. She grinned evilly. "Time to try my hidden strengths as an android pilot!" she said.
Mekhasa’s android drew its saber and countered its opponent’s attack. It backed away, shape shifted into an eagle and started shooting missiles out of its beak. Her missiles hit the guymelef, but it managed to strike back, cutting off a wing.
"Gosh darn it! The years of no battle must’ve gotten to me!" Mekhasa snarled, quickly shape shifting her android into its original form to prevent crashing. She looked around her to find that some of the androids had been totally destroyed, others were in bad condition. Soon, she was surrounded by several guymelefs, all in good condition. "Darn!" Mekhasa growled. "The years of idleness really HAS gotten into us!"

Rohga looked at his radar and gasped. "Mekhasa!" He saw his sister’s android surrounded by at least fifteen enemies. He scanned the radar to find any signs of hybrids. All twelve were gone… "Darn! No!" he growled. He quickly calculated the distance between him and his sister, but it was too far. Besides, his sister was on a entirely different star after all… Rohga prayed for Mekhasa as he led his unit over a dark forest, toward their target.

Mekhasa sat in her cell, staring at the door which locked her in. Sadly, she sighed. She was right; she wasn’t a good General-of-the-Army. The attack was a total failure. She was the only one alive. "Well, at least I’m alive," Mekhasa remarked. She smiled and let out a humph at the thought of her incompetence. "Huh," she said, "some General-of-the-Army I am. Losing to one android of some sort even though I was in a new upgraded version of the Neo-Android. I’m such a fool…"

Lina never really believed in what her parents said about Exidaea, the star where peace is maintained by the legacy of the angels: The Angelic Genesis. They said that there were hybrids that were two times the size of humans and these hybrids created androids for battle armor, and they had also told her that the hybrids despised humans for the massacre attempt the humans had put against the hybrids when Exidaea was young. Fairy tales, Lina thought, just stupid fairy tales that Mom and Dad never grew out of!
"Lina! Dinner’s ready!" Kara, Lina’s mother, called.
"Be there in a minute!" Lina called back. She shut down the computer she was typing a story in and ran downstairs. "I’m here," she said. "What’s for dinner?"
"Just something that I made up," Kara said, giving an affectionate wink. "Now, eat up!"
Lina smiled at her mother, then sat down to eat. She barely picked up her spoon when there was a loud bang from outside. Lina and Kara looked out the window, and both gaped at the sight of what they saw.
"Androids!" Kara gasped.
"Androids?! THOSE are the androids you kept talking about?!" Lina said skeptically.
"A bit different than the androids I have seen, but watch…see how they shape shift every now and then? Those are Hybrid Androids!" Kara said.
Lina watched an android and saw it shape shift from a warplane into an eagle. "WHOA!!" she cried.
"We have to get to your father! We must get out of here!" Kara said urgently.
"Why? Didn’t you say that you were friends with some Hybrids?" Lina asked.
"The last time I’ve been to Exidaea was seventeen years ago. If seven years is several thousands of years there, who knows how long a time had passed now! These hybrids don’t know me, Lina! Now, we must go!"
Lina and Kara hurried out of the house and into the car. Kara started the engine and drove toward the company where James, Lina’s father, worked at. A large explosion nearby caused the car to jolt a bit, causing Lina to cry out in fright. Now she believed what her parents had told her. The hybrids were real!
Suddenly, the car was shoved to one side as a pillar of light shone down from the sky. Lina got caught in the light, but Kara didn’t. The car jolted again, and a second after, Lina was gone.
