I took it for a trip down the beach and it did real
good right up until it hit a soft spot and dug in. To
really tackle the loose sand, it needs larger tires and maybe a gentle lift.
This truck has a LOT of miles but is in great condition. I have never had a lick of trouble with it but the long wheelbase makes it hard to park in tight areas. Trouble is that the island is full of tight spots. Real estate is a premium commodity and so is parking. So, I purchased an '88 Chevy Blazer K5 to get into the smaller parking stalls. It is an awesome machine and I've included a link to it on my home page.
The truck developed an oil leak around the rear seal a while back and I haven't gotten around to fixing it. I did, however, purchase the seal and as soon as I get off my lazy duff, I'll repair the leak. That will make the truck a joy to drive again and I'll either sell it or store it until I return to the mainland.
Well, there are more pictures but I'll have to dig them out and post them later on.
