Chi aka elda-- hidekis first persocom, he finds her in a trash pile in a near by alley from where he works, she has ivory coloured hair, amber coloured eyes and she has the body of a 16 yr old. She is a one of the the urban legends known chobits, a A.I. who can think and act on its own., but she has one flaw,she knows nothing of her past
Dark chi aka freya—when chi closes her eyes, this alter ego speaks to her, she seems to know a lot more of chi’s past then chi herself, she is chis sister and chitoses previous daughter
Hideki-- a 19 yr old boy who works in a club named club pleasure, he is always broke and cant afford a persocom, then he finds chi and is overjoyed, but finds out looking after an A.I. is hard work, and would do anything to get there hands on chi, this makes it a lot harder for Hideki, considering Hideki cant see chi a lot away from school and work
Shimbo Hiroshi --Hidekis friend, he is the proud owner of a laptop persocom named plum, he is going out with the teacher named Takako Shimizu(Ms Shimizu), he also looks up to Hideki as a brother
Plum--a hyperactive laptop persocom, Shimbo owns her but gives her to Hideki when he elopes, she has many functions such as telephone, alarm clock and fitness instructor, she is the cutest character in my opinion, very bouncy and has a lot of cutsie phrases
Yumi Omura—Hideki’s co-worker and friend, she likes hideki alot and someone else, but I’m not gonna say cause it will spoil it for you, she is bouncy and has an e cup, which hideki can’t get enough of funny enough
Takako Shimizu--a teacher who is Shimbos fiancée, they eloped in book 3 and got engaged, she is Hidekis and Shimbos cram school teacher, she’s is cute and wants to be a primary school teacher, but her previous husband didn’t want that
Minuro Kokubunji--a very smart boy at the young age of 12, he has indistinguishable knowledge of persocoms, he also helps hideki with chi when it’s needed.
Yuzuki-- Minuros favourite persocom, she is a spitting image of his older sister who died in an acciedent, very cute and very loving, and looks up to Minuro as more than a brother.
Dragonfly-- a scientist fascinated with persocoms, he would go to any measures to become the owner of chi, which you’ll find out if you haven’t read the manga or seen the anime.
Kotoko-- dragonfly’s laptop persocom, very smart and very fast for a laptop, also researches many things if there unusual, she looks out for chi but her advice is tinged with sarcasm.
Hiroyasu Ueda-- a very loving and caring person who owns the chiroru bakery, he gibes chi a job after the incident with the peep show, so now hideki knows shes in a safe place
Chitose Hibiya—Hidekis attractive and generous land lady, she gave chi her whole wardrobe, apart from the panties, she seems to befriend chi really quickly.
Zima and Dita—this shady pair seem to follow chi around, there intentions are a blue to me, so I don’t know why they are.
