Once you are on this site do the following:
1. Below the picture of George Washington, to the left, click on SEARCH BY KEYWORD
2. In the box, type the words 'George MUSE', or 'Battaile MUSE', then click on SEARCH
This will display a menu of letters between George MUSE, or Battaile MUSE, whichever the case may be, and George Washington. These letters are photocopies of the originals, and somewhat difficult to read if you haven't had experience with written manuscripts of the time. In some cases, you will see a link to a translation. Use this link to see a typed copy of the original where they exist.
