MOORE, b. c1837, d/o Joseph and Mary (WALTERS) MOORE, d. 23 Jan 1920. Joshua TABLER had m. 1st., 1 Dec 1841, (2 Oct in the Bible Record) Harriet Elizabeth TABLER, b. 9 Sep 1819, d/o Christian TABLER, 19 Jun 1857, age 37y 9m 10d. Joshua and Harriet were first cousins. Christian TABLER was a brother of Henry TABLER, father of Joshua. By his first wife, he had 5 children; by Mary MOORE, he had 5 more. Joshua and Mary TABLER are buried in Scrabble Cemetery, Scrabble, WV. In 1849, Joshua received from the Levy Court, $1.00 for a fox scalp, indicating that there must have been a bounty on foxes in Berkeley Co. (PI23, 47-48, WVBEB3, WVBE1, 3, 11-14) Children (5 by the 1st. wife, 5 by the 2nd.)
