Christian VINEYARD was a Revolutionary War Veteran. On 11 Apr 1787, The marriage was proclaimed on Apr 3rd., 4th., and 5th., 1774. Christian was a the suretor for the marriage of Peter Shoup in Botetourt Co., VA. His will was probated Jun 1798, in Botetourt Co., written in German, named his wife Christina, and sons John, Christian, and others. A division of land on May 1819 named his heirs: Nicholas, Peter, Nancy, William, Christian, Abraham, Elizabeth w/o James BRYANT, Catherine w/o William STUART, and Table VINYARD. Christian is buried in Vinyard, Cem., in Vinton, Roanoke Co., VA. The VINEYARD (VINYARD family emigrated from the Palatinate in GER, to Lancaster Co., PA. Christian migrated on to Frederick Co., MD and Botetourt Co., VA, when on 7 Sep 1778 he and William TABLER (Anna's brother) purchased 253 acres of land.
