306-Abraham HOLLINGSWORTH, b. 18 Jan 1686, Rockland Manor, New Castle, DE, s/o Thomas and Margaret (CALVERT) HOLLINGSWORTH, d. Oct 1748, Frederick Co., VA, m. 13 Mar 1710, (307) Ann ROBINSON, d/o George (or James) and Catherine ROBINSON, d. c1749. Abraham HOLLINGSWORTH moved from DE to Cecil Co., MD in 1710. In 1733, he bought from Alexander Ross, under the patent from the Governor of VA, 582 acres of land near Winchester, Frederick Co., VA, and in 1733, he moved with his family and some relatives to this grant. He fixed his home, Abraham's Delight, at a point S.W. of the present town of Winchester, VA, on the branch of Abraham's Creek (named for him), which heads the Town Spring and Shawnee Spring, and there erected a flour mill, one of the first in the county. He and his family were Friends, and attended meetings at East Nottingham, PA, at least 150 miles from Winchester. WILL (FH8, US18) Children:

306.1-George HOLLINGSWORTH, b. 7 Apr 1812, Cecil Co., MD, m. 19 Deb 1734, Hannah MCCOY (MCKAY?), d/o Robert MCCOY, by whom he had five children; he married second, Jane ELWELL, by home he had six children. He moved to Frederick Co., VA with his father. In 1762, he sold all of his property in VA, when he and his family, except for Robert, moved to SC. His first wife wife, Hannah MCCOY, was from the parish of Augusta, Frederick Co, VA (FH8, US18). Children:

306.4-Isaac HOLLINGSWORTH, b. 22 Feb 1722, d. 10 Sep 1759, Fairfax, VA, m. 1748, Rachel PARKINS, b. 3 May 1724, d/o Isaac PARKINS, d. 10 Sep 1805, Fairfax, VA.  On 13 Nov 1751, ten acres of land was transferred from George Ross to Isaac HOLLINGSWORTH for the build of a meeting house, later known as Hopewell Meeting, which was erected in 1759. Isaac HOLLINGSWORTH became a minister when he was 21 years old, and lived near Hopewell Monthly Meeting, VA, until 1857, when he moved to Fairfax, VA. (FH8, US18) Children:
