In 1860 his residence was in Farmington. In 1870-1880 he lived in Paw Paw District, Marion Co. They are buried in Barrackville Cem., Marion Co. Two children, Darl J. and Louisa E, aber buried in Hamilton Cem., Marion Co. WILL (WVMIB4-7, 9, 12, 14, WVMI2-4) Children:

202.1b6a Adam O. HECK, b. 6 Mar 1852, VA, d. 18 Feb 1926, Marion Co., WV, m. Alice "Allie" L. ______, b. 1 Aug 1863, d. 12 Jun 1904 (20 Mar on gravestone), age 41. Numerous references to Adam O. HECK are found in Lough's, Now and Long Ago (WVMIB1), and his historical papers he collected with the intent of writing a history of Marion C., WV. There does appear to be a mistake in Adam O's genealogy, on page 5. Here, Lough, refers to Justus HECK's son Adam, father of Adam O. Records show that Adam O. is the son of James C. HECK. Adam O. was a school teacher, local historian, farmer, and member of the Paw Paw District Board of Education in Marion Co. His papers, interviews, etc, were burned by mistake. He lived in Paw Paw District of Marion Co., 1900-1920. He and his wife are buried in HECK Cem., Marion Co. (WVMIB1, 9, 11, 14, WVMI5-7) Children:

BURNS, b. 19 Mary 1830, d. 19 Aug 1904 d/o _____ and Elizabeth BURNS. William E. was a farmer in Marion Co., WV. In 1880 he lived in Winfield District; in 1900 Union District, and in 1910, Paw Paw District. William buried Heck Cem., near Rivesville, Marion Co. Elizabeth buried Mt. Zion Cem., Marion Co. (WVMIB2-3, 5, 9, 14-15, WVMI2, 4-6) Children:

202.1b6b1 Zebulon HECK, b. 29 Oct 1854, WV, d. 2 May 1925, Marion Co., WV, m. 6 Apr 1882, Marion Co., WV, Lydia R. MORGAN, b. 22 Mar 1851, d. 28 Apr 1925, John MORGAN. They are buried at Mt. Zion Cem., Marion Co., WV. Zebulon was a farmer in Winfield or Union District, Marion Co. in 1910 and 1920. He was counted in the 1910 census twice, once in east district. Both are buried in Mt. Zion Cem., Marion Co. (WVMIB1, 8-9, 11, 14, 15, WVMI6-7) Children:

Maria R. _____?, b. 30 Aug 1908, Fairmont, Marion Co., WV, d. 21 Jan 1915, Prichetts Creek, Marion Co. Her parents were natives of WV.  Emory was farmer in Marion Co., WV in 1910. They are buried in Lake or Poe Cem., Marion Co. (WVMIB8, 14, WVMI6) Children:

202.1b6b5 Jonathan M. HECK, b. 25 Jul 1860/2 (25 Jun 1861, gravestone), d. 12 Feb 1897/98, probably was not married. In his will 27 Feb 1997, he names his mother, and brother Emery. Witnesses were E. V. Vincent, J. F. Morgan, and Joseph Williams.They are buried in Heck Cem., Marion Co.  WILL (WVMIB6, 14)
