settled in what is now Bridgewater Twp., Somerset Co., NJ, near the junction of
the north and south branch of the Raritan River. They were members of the First
Reformed Church in Raritan, NJ. They moved to Frederick Co., MD, where Peter
rented one hundred acres of land from Lord Baltimore on 29 Sep 1759, and were
still living there in 1783. The land was part of the Monocacy Manor. Peter, at
the time of his death, left a widow and 9 children. The had a total of eleven
children, seven of whom were baptized in the First Reformed Church in Raritan.
