| This beauty was caught at Rush Creek in late Oct. with a spinning lure, on light tackle. I casted up-stream and she took it on the drift. I thought I was hung up on something untill the line started to move. She gave a good fight! When she finally came to shore and I bent over to reach for her, she took off running again. I would have like to let her go, but by the time I landed her for the second time, she was badly bleeding from the gills. She provided a great thrill, and a good meal! |

| This is one of those famous "Alpers Ranch Trout" I caught this one at Lower Twin Lake in Bridgport on a large spinner. I had a great strike about an hour earlyer which motivated me to keep casting. I through so many times I thought my arm was going come off. Finally persistance paid off with the first Alpers I've ever caught! |
