You, My Beloved
You are the bright rose
of every day, glowing with
a broad, smiling face.

You are bright sunshine
on a cloudy, windy March
day--the glowing eye.

You are the music
sublime, floating on the air--
charming every ear.

You are the dancer
gracefully moving in time
with the beating drums.

You, my beloved,
are the reason rain does fall
and sun does daily shine.
You are galactic--
a universe--emblazoned
meteoric orb.

Isis like, you rule
each salon you inhabit--
radiant, glimmering.

You, my beloved
are regal, beyond compare,
a rare gem, precious.

Oh, my beloved,
my center--celestial orb,
my Deborahanne.
