| Okay, it's not an INTERESTING story, but it is a story nonetheless and notheless it shall be told. I met Mikey V in middle-school. Due to our mutual admiration for early nineties rock, we formed a band called Jaded Innocence. We were terrible. We have documented proof. That band broke up when I left for college. In the aftermath, I joined up with a couple of buddies, one of which was Mike Meyers, to form Sneezer, a weezer tribute band. This band was rather short-lived, and we only played at graduation parties thrown by its members. Never really officially disbanded, but it wasn't ever more than a side project, anyway. Afterward, we all did our own things for a while with various other bands. I was planning on starting a band with Mikey V that sounded kind of like this for a while, but we both were in other bands at different times. We did jam a couple of times however, and even wrote some songs together. This summer, however, we were both bandless, and looking to rock out. I recruited fellow Meijer emplyee Mike Meyers to bling the fat strings, and I would sing while Mike and I slung the thin strings. We jammed with a couple of drummers, but eventually we decided to switch Mikey to drums. And that's about where we are now. We've played a few shows, recorded a demo, and gone on our first hiatus. However, when I come back from Japan in August we will be rockin' it olde school. |
