PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

Data Warehousing

 

·         Developed Telseon Customer Care data warehouse, designed for the data integration of three OSS/BSS systems, work included the data modeling, database design, extract/translate/load processing, and the reporting views.

·         Part of tem that developed the ETL methodology and strategy for the sourcing of data into the MCI data warehouse resulting in reduced implementation time and better ability to compete for project work.

·         Served as lead developer for Concert customer reporting data warehouse, supporting network inventory/statistics/products subject areas including ETL processes, data models, database design, test plans, and department datamart integration processes.

·         Installed, configured, and supported Seagate Crystal Info software allowing for the scheduling of Telseon departmental reports.

·         Served as lead developer for MCI corporate data warehouse designing, developing and implementing the ETL processes for the loading of data between MCI applications and data warehouse structures.

·         Functioned as CSG product manager for two VantagePoint data warehouse applications gathering requirements, planning releases, creating test plans, creating release notes, and providing functional direction to developers.

·         Designed and implemented TCI’s operational data store gathering user requirements, investigating existing source system processing, creating extract/translate/load processing models, design documents, and creating logical/physical data models.

Software Development

 

·         Analyzed and designed the Great-West Life HIPAA operational metrics reporting system for the Tibco EDI messaging architecture

·         Analyzed, designed and tested the Great-West Life HIPAA 837 transaction implementation using the Tibco EDI messaging architecture.

·         Designed and coded customer tailored implementation’s of the ENS pre-adjudication system that included provider, patient, and member eligibility matching for payers’ utilizing EDI formats of X12, NEIC or NSF.

·         Analyzed, designed, and developed Telseon billing system including invoicing, payments, rating, discounting, and mediation saving $500,000 in off-the-shelf purchases.

·         Designed and supported the data layer of Telseon provisioning system implementing user views, stored procedures, and COM components supporting the business rules.

·         Integrated ONYX sales force automation software with the in-house provisioning system modifying process flow business rules within stored procedures to process XML transactions.

·         Worked on design team to develop USA.Net email provisioning system using J2EE architecture.

·         Provided analysis, design, coding, and testing support for Y2K enhancements of Qual-Med’s health insurance system.

·         Analyzed, designed, coded, and tested system releases of user enhancements for accounting, provider, claims processing, membership, and broker commission modules of Qual-Med’s health insurance system.

·         Designed the EDI interface between third-party clearinghouse and membership/claims modules.

·         Played lead role on technical team integrating newly acquired companies with Qual-Med health insurance system mapping and enhancing providers/membership/billing/accounting conversion modules.

·         Served as lead analyst on Lincoln National employee health benefit system conversion responsible for data mapping and conversion rule requirements, data flow diagrams, program specifications, test procedures, audit trail rules, and system documentation.

·         Designed and developed Bluecare network membership reporting system and financial reporting system.

·         Supported purchased health insurance system for Bluecare network including enhancements, bug fixes, and installation of new software releases.

·         Served as lead developer on shadow reporting database project for Bluecare network financial and healthcare cost reporting.

·         Designed and developed prototype for Lease Management system.

·         Provided customer specific technical support including bug fixes and enhancements of accounting applications.
