Mike's Family

Mike and Lisa are expecting their third child in April, 2005.

When in high school, Mike took some additional courses in machine work at a technical high school. After working at a couple of small machine shops, he got a job at a company that rebuilds diesel engines for trailer trucks and large construction machinery. After 18 years, he left that company and is now working as an apprentice plumber.

Mike's favorite pastimes are hunting and fishing. He is a member of a sportsmen's club and travels thousands of miles during deer hunting season in different states.

Lisa started taking dance lessons as a very young girl. She has performed with professional dance ensembles. She has danced in the Nutcracker several times, performing most of the female roles. She usually performs more than one role in each performance. With the birth of Jesse in September and because rehearsing many roles would have taken too much time away from the kids, Lisa only performed one part in 2002. She has her own dance studio where she and a couple of other instructors teach just about every type of performance dancing you can think of. Dale and Ernie have taught line dancing at Lisa's studio.

Mike and Lisa have two sons, Jon Michael who was born in 1998 and Jesse Merrill who was born in 2002. Though dancing is still a major source of enjoyment for her, Lisa's main interest is now their sons.
